Welcome roadies. Don't miss this monthly one day event starting 4/18 or our 3 day TRI-STATE RAMBLE in July which begins 7/16. The TSR covers Columbia County NY, western CT and the Berkshires of Mass. The 3rd Sunday of April thru October, we will have our fully supported TOUR DE COLUMBIA COUNTY.
The dates are 4/18, 5/16, 6/20, 7/18*, 8/15, 9/19 & 10/17. Our routes are carefully planned for the best experience. We'll depart from Craryville NY & return there. You'll view mountain ranges, vast farms & pastures, quaint towns & villages, the HVRT rail trail & a gorgeous lake. The terrain is rolling & challenging. The mileage options are 35, 43 or 50 for the hard core looking for a "half century". The SAG support vehicle sets up a few rest stops & is always around watching out for you. You'll be able to ride at your own pace. There's a limit of 20 cyclists each event so book early. This will be the best $79 you've spent ($139 for couple)and will include pre-planned routes, SAG VEHICLE SUPPORT, rest stops, cue sheets, snacks & a quality sandwich lunch using local produce. Our three day event fee is $195 pp and $349 per couple.
Participants will also visit a major park where there will be an option to hike 1 1/2 miles r/t into Mass. to a spectacular water fall, swim, or chill out.
Not from the area? We provide a short list of lodging ideas that can accommodate all budgets. No need to break the bank. Camping, motels and fine Inns are all nearby. NO CAR? We do RAIL PICK UPS at the Wassaic station of Metro-North Rail in Dutchess County NY! You NYC folks can bring your bike on the train & enjoy the country cycling. Train leaves Grand Central for Wassaic at 7:46 am & arrives at 10:05 am. Fee is $39 for a rail pick up or $69 for a pickup and return. Once you've decided on the month send your check payable to: Ed Fertik c/o CycleLogical Bike Tours PO Box 307 Philmont, New York 12565. Include your phone numbers and e-mail address.
